Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Ensure that all transactions are documented in the appropriate ledgers, including daybook, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile bank statements and verify the integrity of financial data.
- Efficiently process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Maintain a systematic and current financial filing system.
- Support audit activities and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide assistance during the tax preparation and filing processes.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a bookkeeper or in a comparable financial position.
- Proficient in accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and Google Suite.
- Expertise in establishing QBO rules for handling repetitive entries.
- Strong understanding of managing multiple entities and their financial records, particularly in related transactions and fund movements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to organize daily tasks to ensure readiness for tax preparation deadlines.
